Truth Be ToldDavido Denies Stealing ‘Aye’ From Singer Runtown
The BET Award winner clears the air about who actually wrote his biggest hit in 2014!
Davido is finally refuting claims that his 2014 hit track “Aye” was written by singer Runtown from Dilly Records.
In a recent interview with AvanteTV, the BET Award winner said,
“Runtown and TSpize work great together. TSpize sent me a couple of beats and we recorded like three songs and everyone was just like, this is the one. So we shot the video naturally. Everything about me is natural.”
Continuing about the song and who exactly penned it, Davido stated,
“No [Runtown didn’t write it], But the producer got the beat’s check (he got paid). He (TSpize) is a talented producer.”
Whether or not Davido wrote the song, who cares. It’s currently one of the biggest songs in Africa and besides, “he got paid!”

One Direction brought Wimbledon to a halt as fans and punters swarmed the gates for their arrival.
Heartthrobs Niall Horan and Liam Payne, flacked by security, squeezed through the huge crowds around Gate 13 at the All England Club.
The two stars arrived after lunch and are expected to make their way to Centre Court to support Heather Watson in her second-round match.
Watson is the last remaining British woman in the draw after No.1 Laura Robson was forced to withdraw through injury.

One Direction are used to legions of adoring fans trying to grab them inappropriately/ stroke their hair/ chuck gifts at them.
But things are starting to get a little bit lethal out there.
On Wednesday, Irish charmer Niall pleaded with One Direction fans to stop throwing objects on stage after one hit his injured knee leaving him in “a lot of pain”.
The star was filmed by a fan hobbling across the stage in Amsterdam, clearly in agony, and sure enough he soon begged the crowd to stop hurling all sorts of things at them.
And that didn’t come long after bandmate Harry Styles got hit in the face by a mysterious flying object – for the second time in a month.

The singer was filmed walking down the stage with his bandmates this week when something came hurtling out of the crowd and hit him square in the eye.
Ouch.
And back in April the curly-haired One Direction star was on the receiving end of a rogue flying object during a live show in Peru.
An over-excited fan launched the mysterious missile at the One Direction heartthrob as the band were performing on stage.
Harry put on a brave face, staggered back and poured some water over his face while clutching his eye.
We’re not sure what exactly was thrown, but it did enough damage to take Hazza out of action for a bit while the rest of the group continued singing One Thing.

But it looks like the boys have finally had enough. After Wednesday night’s show Niall hit Twitter to tell fans to “limit” what gets thrown at them on stage.
He wrote: “Amsterdam thank you for a great couple of shows! Appreciate you coming. Also guys! Can you limit what gets thrown on stage please! Coz somethin thrown at me tonight! Hit my knee! A lot of pain from it!
“Never wana sound like I’m complaining! But only having my operation 5 months ago, I still get a bit of pain and I’m very scared about it.”

Beyoncé and her rapper husband Jay Z have always been notoriously private.
But on Wednesday night the famous duo shocked fans when they played footage from their intimate April 2008 wedding ceremony and emotional birth of their daughter Blue Ivy.
The pair kicked off their highly anticipated On The Run Tour at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens where fans were not only treated to a 42-song set list, but also the candid behind the scenes clips, shown in between songs.
One video showed the couple exchanging their vows at the top-secret ceremony, which took place six years after they first started dating, and Jay finally putting a ring on it.
Another video shows the pair in hospital and singer Bey lying in bed cradling their adorable newborn daughter Blue Ivy.
The clips clearly moved the audience, with one fan writing: “The video of Beyonce & Jay Z wedding and birth of Blue were beautiful – I was in tears aww.”
While another wrote: “That footage of Beyonce in the hospital after giving birth to Blue made me tear.”
Kefee’s Burial Plan Revealed- Read Details
On Monday about 100 stakeholders in the Nigerian entertainment industry met in Lagos, to discuss burial plans for late singer, Irikefe Don-Momoh more popularly called Kefee.
At the meeting venue, provided by Sammie Okposo, many notable faces were present including; Nikki Laoye, Anny Ibrahim, Tosin Martins, DJ Gosporella, Emem Ema, Wamilele, Princess, Tee-Y Mix, Perry Martins and Praise Machine, Mudi, Righteousman, Nene Soul Diva, Victor Gospogroove, Gordons and representatives from Kefee’s family.
“Kefee was a major contributor to the development of entertainment industry in Nigeria and the industry will be there for her even in death.
“We are going to bury her as a queen and it would be nice for us to work together to make her burial a grand affair.
“It would also be nice to use this opportunity to get our acts together as gospel artists and entertainers in general because that is what Kefee would love,’’ Sammie Okposo said
Also speaking, Tosin Martins said that celebrating Kefee should be an annual memorial event which could be expressed through an entertainment symposium. Martins said this would ensure that pertinent issues in the entertainment industry were discussed for the development of a foundation in her memory.
A committee known as Kefee Memorial Committee (KMC) was constituted to plan the various events which would hold in Lagos and Sapele, the hometown of the late singer.
The members of the committee are Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Comrade Rex Anighoro, Momodu Inu Noah, Tosin Martins, Anny Ibrahim, Joan Paul, Aity Dennis-Inyang and Emem Ema, Gbenga Akintokun, Tee-Y Mix, Tim Tehilla, DJ Gosporella, Praise Machine, Victor Gospogroove, Princess, Perry Martins, DJ Direal and Chilee Agunanna, a journalist, who was Kefee’s publicist.
The committee will plan befitting burial events in Lagos and Sapele which includes a symposium and service of songs tagged: “An Evening with Kefee’’ in Lagos.
There will also be a documentary of the singer’s life and times; performances of her songs by other artists; Kefee memorial merchandise and a tribute concert in Sapele.
Kefee’s husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, monitored the proceedings of the meeting from the U.S. where he is preparing to fly home the body of his wife.
Don-Momoh pleaded for the privacy of the family to be respected in these trying times.
He noted that most of the stories written about Kefee since her death are untrue, especially the reports “of a pregnancy that didn’t exist’’ and the story that her body had been flown home he described as very insensitive and mischievous.
Don-Momoh said that customarily, he would have to return home to Nigeria first, in order to be on ground to receive the body of his wife.
According to him, he is finalising the required paper works before Kefee’s body can be flown from the U.S. to Nigeria, after which more details of the burial proceedings will be released.
He stated that Kefee’s family had requested that she be buried in Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East Local Government Area, with a celebratory service in Sapele afterwards.
Don-Momoh said that he was comfortable with the decision of his wife’s family, adding that these were the only definite arrangements for his wife’s burial so far.
Meanwhile, a condolence register had been opened for the singer at her restaurant, Branama Kitchen, at 11 Ajose Street, Mende, Maryland, Lagos.

Beyonce Concert Series “Beyonce: X10” To Air On HBO
Footage from the “Mrs. Carter World Tour” will appear in a 10-part series on HBO beginning tonight (June 22).
After the premium channel aired a documentary on Beyonce called Life Is But A Dream last year, HBO will now begin airing a 10-part concert series called Beyonce: X10 tonight (June 22).
The series is built from footage taken during Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter World Tour from 2013 and 2014 and each episode will clock in at less than five minutes. Scheduled to air every Sunday until completion, Beyonce: X10 will precede episodes of the final season of True Blood at 8:55 PM EST.
According to Huffington Post, the Beyonce Life Is But A Dream documentary was HBO’s “most viewed music-oriented special since 2003.”
The Mrs. Carter World Tour took place between April of 2013 and March of this year. In April, Billboard reported that the tour brought in an overall revenue of “$212 million from more than 1.8 million sold tickets at 126 concerts.”
Songs slated to appear on Beyonce: X10 include “Drunk In Love,” “Blow/Cherry,” “Ghost/Haunted,” “Girls,” “Heaven,” “Partition,” and more.
